Supporting Nottinghamshire

Harley

  • Shih Tzu x Poodle
  • Male
  • 2 Years

Harley is a sweet and affectionate boy who is currently looking for a foster home, with the potential for a long-term adoption. With a timid nature, he can be hesitant around new people and situations, so he’s searching for an experienced owner who can help build his confidence at his own pace.

Harley’s ideal family will be patient and committed to continuing his training, including house-training, while also being home most of the time to provide him with the support and reassurance he needs to thrive. Once he bonds with you, Harley is incredibly loving and enjoys lots of cuddles and attention.

He loves his walks and exploring but when feeling unsure around unfamiliar people or dogs, he may become vocal. With the right guidance and encouragement, Harley will grow in confidence and flourish in a caring and understanding home. To help him feel secure, Harley will need to be rehomed with a friendly female dog who can be a positive role model for him.

Why Rehome From RSPCA Radcliffe

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.

We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.

We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!

We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
