Cats are at risk of infections that can be spread through fighting and mating, and unneutered cats can also produce unwanted litters of kittens.
Here at Radcliffe Animal Centre, we are supporting the local community by offering neutering and microchipping for £40 for all cats aged 14 weeks and over.
Not only is neutering the responsible choice for your own cat, but your fee will stay within the animal centre to help support other animals in need.
Our community cat neutering scheme is designed to provide routine, preventative procedures for cats. This approach enables us to make the best possible use of our charitable resources and support as many animals as we can.
As a veterinary team, we are fully qualified and committed to high standards of clinical care. However, within the scope of this scheme and the facilities available, our service is focused on routine procedures rather than the management of more complex or underlying medical conditions. These cases often require additional diagnostics, extended monitoring, or ongoing treatment that sit outside the remit of a high-volume neutering programme.
We understand this may be frustrating, but this decision is always made with the cat’s safety and wellbeing in mind. Cats with existing or suspected health concerns are best cared for within a setting where more tailored, case-specific support can be provided.
To book your cat in, please email neutering@rspca-radcliffe.org.uk with your name and telephone number, and a member of the team will contact you to arrange an appointment. Payment is taken at the time of booking over the phone.
