All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.
View our Adoption Procedure
We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.
We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity to meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!
The information available on each animal is intended to be a guide only. We understand that just as every animal is an individual so too are you and your family. Our aim is to assist you in selecting a suitable companion that will fit with your lifestyle. Please feel free to contact us to discuss an animal you may be interested in rehoming.
Animals will need to be viewed in person before we can reserve them so if you have far to travel it is advisable to check the animal is still available. Please understand there may be occasions where a particular animal is in high demand.
Adopting a rescue animal from us can be an extremely rewarding thing to do and we have had many successes, from dogs helping to improve people’s lives to animals that have had a real struggle trying to find a forever home, finally getting their second chance of happiness.
If you are struggling to keep your pet then we may be able to help by taking your pet in, if space allows to. We can also discuss other options that may allow you to keep your pet.
Call 0115 855 0222 to discuss this with our reception team or see below for more information.
