Supporting Nottinghamshire

Educational Visits

At Radcliffe Animal Centre, we offer animal welfare educational visits and workshops for community groups and organisations.

At present, we are unable to deliver visits to schools or organisations off-site, but we are continuing to host visits here at Radcliffe Animal Centre.

Educational visits are free of charge, but we kindly ask groups to set up a Donation Station before attending, to support the animals in our care.

Visits take place on Thursdays: 10:30am–11:30am or 1:30pm–2:30pm.

Please note: We cannot guarantee that visitors will be able to meet the animals during any educational visit.

About us

The RSPCA Radcliffe Animal Centre Trust is an independent charity and separate from the national RSPCA. We receive no financial assistance from the National Lottery or Government, and raise our funds locally through donations, fundraising events, companies and other organisations.

Working with rescued animals, we use our Circle of Compassion to show children how we help animals recover from cruelty and neglect, and how we can help prevent this from happening to others. Our Circle of Compassion encourages kindness, teaches people how to care for animals properly, and promotes respect and compassion for all living things.

Our team at Radcliffe Animal Centre has created a new video to help children understand what animals need to stay healthy and happy. Our welfare workshops encourage activities and discussion around animals physical and emotional needs.
