Cairo

Cairo was rescued from a bleak existence along with many other dogs. Forced to live in unsuitable conditions, spending day and night in dirty kennels with no stimulation and little attention. Cairo being an intelligent, energetic breed needed experienced and patient handling when he arrived into our care, with a programme of careful training and support during his rehabilitation.

It was clear that Cairo had missed out on a lot of socialisation at a young age. He craved attention and loved to please but needed to learn to be calm greeting people and interacting with other dogs.

We spent a lot of time in channeling his energy into exercise and training so that he would relax on his return to his kennel and be able to progress successfully towards rehoming.

As a fully grown dog his strength and size would be challenging for any new owner so it was important for us to find an experienced home where Cairo could thrive. He would continue to need understanding and recognition of his difficult past. Luckily we found the perfect new home for him where he is now thriving and very much loved.
