Supporting Nottinghamshire

Rehoming & advice

What to do if your circumstances
 have changed

If you find yourself in the position where you have no other choice but to part with your pet then you need to ensure you take the right steps to give your pet the best chance of finding a new home.

The best thing to do first is to contact where you originally got your pet from. If it is was from the RSPCA then contact the rehoming centre you adopted from and we will do our best to take the animal back. We may advise you to contact another animal welfare/ rehoming organisation as our our main priority is to support animals in most need via the RSPCA Inspectorate.

If you wish to rehome an animal through the RSPCA Radcliffe Animal Centre please call 0115 9334422 to discuss. If you are needing to rehome your cat please visit www.catchat.org.uk for a list of other organisations that may be able to help. Please understand our space is limited and priority is given to RSPCA inspectors that need to bring animals in. Please be aware that we operate within a certain catchment area, for further details please contact the centre.
