Why Adopt with RSPCA Radcliffe?

All our animals undergo a period of assessment and rehabilitation. This will vary according to the needs of each individual animal. It includes health checks, behaviour  observations, veterinary treatment and training programs. This helps us achieve the best possible match.

During busy periods please understand you may be politely asked to wait outside before entering the cattery or reception.

This is because we want to prevent our animals from being overwhelmed from too many people viewing.

We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.

We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adopters with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an 2 cat lounges where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!

The information available on each animal is intended to be a guide only. We understand that just as every animal is an individual, so too are you and your family. Our aim is to assist you in selecting a suitable companion that will fit with your lifestyle. Please feel free to contact us to discuss an animal you may be interested in rehoming.

Animals can be reserved in person by visiting the centre during opening hours.

Alternatively, please complete the appropriate online adoption form and we will contact you if we think the animal you have expressed an interest in is a suitable match and is still available for adoption.

Please understand there may be occasions where a particular animal is in high demand.

Adopting a rescue animal from us can be an extremely rewarding thing to do and we have had many successes, from dogs helping to improve people’s lives to animals that have had a real struggle trying to find a forever home,  finally getting their second chance of happiness.
