Our welfare workshops focus on what animals need to stay happy and healthy. Last month we met some wonderful children from The Hospital and Home Education Learning Centre in Nottingham. We talked about how important it is for rabbits to have the opportunity to forage for food, and why play is so important for cats and kittens.
An animal’s emotional needs are just as important as their physical needs.
Giving animals opportunities to engage in rewarding, enjoyable behaviours supports their wellbeing and helps them live a life worth living.
Through education, we can work towards a world where all animals are respected and treated with kindness and compassion.
