We are very pleased to announce that Joanne Henstock has joined our team here at the centre as our new permanent veterinary surgeon.
Jo will be working with and teaching the Nottingham University vet students as they gain experience of shelter medicine. Having Jo on site full time means we will be able to carry out procedures and vet checks much more regularly.
This will benefit our animals because any issues they are suffering with will be identified earlier and treated much more quickly. It also means that our rehoming/adoption process is not being held up waiting for a visiting vet to check over our animals.
It’s a win-win situation for our centre animals and a very welcome one too.
Welcome to the team Jo!
