It is our inspectors that deal with complaints of animal cruelty and neglect in the local area.
In some cases our inspectors are able to resolve the vast number of complaints, by providing their advice and assistance to help them care for their animals.
Though, in some cases our inspectors have to deal with some very serious cases of animal neglect and suffering, or people who won’t respond to improvements to animal welfare.
These are the animals that often find themselves in our care and it is our responsibility to provide them with the best care and rehabilitation to ensure they go on to find homes and live full and happy lives.
If you are worried and need to report cruelty or an animal in distress then you can do so in two different ways, either by calling the National RSPCA cruelty line on 0300 1234 999 or you can use the online report form.
You will be asked a variety of questions to ensure that your call is prioritised according to its urgency. Please note, during busier periods your call may be placed in queue.
