We are proud to assist and mentor young people…
Providing apprenticeships, encouraging qualifications and developing employment skills.
We offer apprenticeship placements working closely with local colleges in order for students to achieve their NVQ in animal and customer care. The more people we can teach about how to care for animals, the more we can improve animal welfare for the future.
APPRENTICE POSITIONS
As part of our ongoing commitment to animal welfare education we are currently accepting applications for Animal Care Apprentice positions.
The role is full time here at Radcliffe Animal Centre and involves studying for an NVQ Level 2 in Animal care and Customer Care alongside the practical aspects of the role.
If you are interested in applying, please send an up to date CV and covering letter marked ‘Apprenticeship Placement’ to info@rspca-radcliffe.org.uk
Please note all applicants must be a minimum of 18 years old.
Apprentices may be offered permanent employment should there be a suitable vacancy on successful completion of their apprenticeship. Others will often progress to find employment in veterinary practises or other opportunities within the RSPCA or animal welfare sectors.
Please see www.gov.uk/apprenticeships-guide/pay-and-conditions for more information on apprenticeships and pay.
Below we have created videos to highlight exactly what is involved and expected of an Animal Care Assistant for both dogs and cats here at the Centre.
