Zacky

  • Crossbreed
  • Male
  • 4 Years

Zacky is a sensitive soul in search of a calm, understanding home. He can be easily startled by loud noises or sudden movements, so a quieter environment is essential to help him feel safe and secure. Zacky enjoys human company but he prefers not to be picked up, especially until he knows and trusts you.

When feeling overwhelmed, Zacky’s natural response is to hide. However, with patience and gentle care, he begins to gain confidence, especially if there are tasty greens on offer.

Zacky is looking for a female rabbit companion to share his space and help him continue building trust.

Rabbits like Zacky are active animals that need plenty of room to thrive. A well-matched pair of medium-sized rabbits requires a living area of at least 3 metres by 2 metres, giving them the space to run, hop, and binky, essential behaviours for their physical and emotional wellbeing.

Why Rehome From RSPCA Radcliffe

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.

We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.

We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!

We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
