Waffle

  • Poodle Cross
  • Male
  • 2 Years

Waffle is a gentle and sensitive boy who is slowly learning that the world isn’t as scary as he once thought. As he begins to feel safe, he is starting to take small steps forward and show his quieter, sweet nature.

Having never experienced life in a typical home before, many everyday sights, sounds and routines are still new to Waffle. He will need a calm, patient and understanding owner who can give him the time and reassurance he needs to settle and build his confidence at his own pace.

Waffle can be timid, but he responds well to kindness, consistency and gentle encouragement. With the right support, he will continue to grow and gain confidence in his surroundings.

He will need help with all areas of training, including house training, lead walking and learning basic routines around the home. His new owner should be prepared to guide him through everything step by step and celebrate the small milestones along the way.

A quiet home environment will suit Waffle best. He could live with another calm, friendly dog who will help him feel more secure and provide a positive influence.

Waffle is looking for patient owners with experience of nervous dogs, who can offer him a safe and understanding home. With time, care and reassurance, he has so much potential to blossom into a loving and loyal companion.

Why Rehome From RSPCA Radcliffe

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.

We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.

We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!

We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
