Tara is a gentle but timid girl who is looking for a patient home where she can feel safe and secure. She is shy with new people and prefers to take her time to settle in, but once she feels comfortable she shows her sweet nature and enjoys a fuss. At the centre, we are already beginning to see glimpses of her affectionate side and with the right family she will continue to grow in confidence.
When she feels uncertain, Tara likes to hide under her bedding, but she also enjoys being stroked and has tolerated gentle grooming and handling. Tara would suit a quiet home with owners who can offer her plenty of reassurance and allow her to settle at her own pace.

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.
We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.
We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!
We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
