Rosie is loving, affectionate and enjoys human companionship. Rosie is energetic and enjoys being out and about.
As far as we are aware Rosie has always been housed outside in a kennel. Rosie will need a slow introduction to a home environment and the outside world. Socialising will need to be a calm slow process. Starting with quiet areas of low traffic with a slow build up to a heavy traffic noises. House training will be required. New owners will need lots of time and patience. Frequent visits to the garden will be essential with owners observing and rewarding positive toileting habits. New owners will need to be experienced and at home most of the day, they will need to be active and willing to put time into training. Rosie is from a working dog background and has high energy levels that will need to be channelled with training and exercise.

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.
We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.
We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!
We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
When Fred came to the shelter he was in a very sorry state, but thankfully through care and rehabilitation he made a full recovery and went on to find his forever home where he is living the best life.
