Romy

  • Domestic short hair
  • Male
  • 2 Years

Romy is a shy and sensitive cat who takes life at his own pace. While he may be nervous at first and prefer to hide when faced with unfamiliar surroundings or people, Romy simply needs a calm, understanding environment and patient companionship to feel safe.

He may hiss when uncertain, so will need an experienced home but once he begins to feel more secure, Romy appreciates being spoken to in a soft, reassuring voice and responds positively to gentle strokes. He finds comfort in quiet interactions and builds trust gradually.

Romy particularly values his own space. He loves discovering cosy, tucked-away corners where he can relax and observe the world at a distance. He is happiest when he can retreat to a peaceful spot without disruption, making him well-suited to a calm, quiet household.

Why Rehome From RSPCA Radcliffe

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.

We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.

We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!

We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
