Ricky is a handsome boy who was originally found as a stray. When he first arrived at the centre, he was very frightened and overwhelmed, preferring to hide somewhere he felt safe.
Since then, Ricky has made lovely progress and is beginning to enjoy affection. He likes gentle head and chin scratches when approached calmly, but sudden movements can still make him nervous. He dislikes being picked up and feels much more secure with all four paws on the ground.
Ricky is looking for a quiet home with an owner who has some experience with timid cats and will give him the time and patience he needs to settle in at his own pace.

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.
We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.
We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!
We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
