Supporting Nottinghamshire

Quincy

  • Shih Tzu x Poodle
  • Male
  • 4 Years

Quincy was rescued by RSPCA Inspectors from a home with multiple dogs and is now searching for a kind and understanding family who can offer the patience, support and reassurance he needs to truly thrive.

Naturally timid and hesitant in new situations or when meeting unfamiliar people, Quincy is a loving and affectionate boy once he builds trust. He also has an independent side and appreciates having a quiet space to retreat to when he needs a break.

Quincy enjoys his walks and exploring the outdoors but he’s not one for socialising on the go.

He is looking for an experienced, calm home with someone around most of the time. Continued general training, including house training, will be important, with gentle guidance essential to help him adjust. Slow, controlled introductions to everyday sights, sounds and people will be key to helping Quincy build confidence at his own pace.

With time, patience and plenty of love, Quincy will flourish.

Why Rehome From RSPCA Radcliffe

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.

We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.

We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!

We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
