Supporting Nottinghamshire

Pudding

  • JRT x Chihuahua
  • Female
  • 9 Months

Pudding is a nervous little girl who is looking for a very special home. She came into our care from a multi-dog household and needs time, patience and understanding to help her feel safe. She can be wary of new people and may react if someone she doesn’t know tries to pick her up, but with trust and reassurance she will begin to show her affectionate side. Once she knows you, she enjoys gentle fuss and will happily curl up on a familiar lap.

She has had limited training and socialisation in her previous home and is still learning about the world. Pudding had never been walked on a lead before arriving here, but she is making steady progress with the support of our team. Her new family will need to continue her training, including house-training, work at her pace and help build her confidence.

We are looking for an experienced, quiet home for Pudding, where her new family will be around most of the day to support her. With patience, consistency and kindness, Pudding has the potential to grow into a more confident and loving companion.

Why Rehome From RSPCA Radcliffe

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.

We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.

We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!

We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
