Supporting Nottinghamshire

Peggy

  • Staffordshire Bull Terrier
  • Female
  • 3 Years

Peggy is a very friendly, confident girl with a fun, playful personality. She loves her toys and has high energy levels, so she’s happiest when she’s busy and getting plenty of attention. Peggy will need a home where someone is around most of the time, as she can be a bit cheeky and has been known to chew things she shouldn’t if left to her own devices.

She’s looking for an experienced owner and an active family who can give her lots of exercise, enrichment and adventures. Peggy walks on a harness and can pull on the lead when she’s excited, so she’ll benefit from continuing her lead training. She’s generally good with other dogs, although she can be a little bouncy when greeting them, and other times will happily ignore them and carry on with her walk.

Peggy is a lively, loving companion who thrives on company and an active lifestyle. If her new family already have a dog, Peggy would prefer a male companion.

Why Rehome From RSPCA Radcliffe

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.

We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.

We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!

We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
