Patches

  • Jack Russell Terrier
  • Male
  • 14 Years

Patches can be a little nervous when meeting new people or exploring new surroundings, but with a slow, calm approach he soon wants to say hello. Once he’s bonded with his person, he becomes very attached and likes to stay close.

Patches is a gentle, calm boy who enjoys quiet spaces but he also loves human company and will happily come for gentle fuss and sit on your knee. He enjoys his walks and exploring, though he’s not particularly interested in playing with toys.

Patches is good with other dogs. If his new family already has a dog, he would benefit from one of a similar size with a quiet, calm nature, as boisterous dogs can make him feel nervous.

Patches is a lovely boy who would be happiest in a home where someone is around most of the time, as he really enjoys being with his people.

Why Rehome From RSPCA Radcliffe

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.

We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.

We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!

We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
