This beautiful young Lurcher is looking for a home with an experienced dog owner who has the time to spend training him in all areas. Ollie needs somebody who is home most of the time as we feel he may not be happy when left alone. He is a large, strong Lurcher needing training on the lead. Ollie has a lovely nature but can be quite boisterous and overpowering; he can therefore not be re-homed with children under the age of 11 years.
Our assessment and information on this animal suggest the following:
£165. Pets over 10 years old may be subject to a reduced adoption fee
About the procedure
All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.
We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.
We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!
We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
When Fred came to the shelter he was in a very sorry state, but thankfully through care and rehabilitation he made a full recovery and went on to find his forever home where he is living the best life.
