Supporting Nottinghamshire

Ollie

  • Shih Tzu x Poodle
  • Male
  • 6 Years

Ollie was rescued by RSPCA Inspectors from a home with multiple dogs and is now searching for a kind and understanding family who can offer him the patience, support and reassurance he needs to truly thrive.

Naturally timid, Ollie can be hesitant around new people and unfamiliar situations, it takes him a while to feel safe and build trust. Once he bonds with you though, he becomes an exceptionally affectionate and loving companion who adores fuss and cuddles.

Ollie enjoys human company but he also needs the support of a calm, friendly female dog in the home, someone who can be his role model and show him that the world isn’t such a scary place. With the right canine friend and a gentle routine, Ollie will begin to show his playful, mischievous side.

He is a clever boy who has already made great progress in our care but his next chapter will be another big step. Ollie will need an experienced and patient owner to help build his confidence and guide him as he grows into the cheeky, spirited dog he is meant to be.

Why Rehome From RSPCA Radcliffe

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.

We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.

We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!

We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
