Nipper is a gentle little boy who hasn’t had much socialisation in the past, so new places and people can feel very overwhelming for him. He may bark when unsure and often looks to retreat when frightened, but with time and patience he will begin to approach and show his curious side.
He walks nicely on the lead, even though this is all new to him, and he will need help with house training as well as continued gentle socialisation to build his confidence. Nipper isn’t sure about toys just yet, but once he feels settled in a loving home, he may learn to enjoy them.
Nipper is looking for a quiet, experienced home with patient owners who can give him the time he needs to bond and feel safe. If his new family already have a dog, Nipper would prefer a small, calm female of similar size.

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.
We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.
We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!
We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
