Supporting Nottinghamshire

Morgan

  • Shih Tzu
  • Male
  • 9 Years

Morgan was rescued by RSPCA Inspectors from a home with multiple dogs and is now ready for a fresh start with a kind, patient family.

He’s an incredibly affectionate boy who adores cuddles and thrives on human company. Playful at times, but happiest simply being close to people, Morgan would love a home where someone is around most of the time to support his confidence and training, especially with housetraining. Morgan is very well behaved at the vets and enjoys being brushed and groomed, with his sweet little waddle making him even more endearing.

Morgan could live happily as the only pet or with a calm, small dog for company. He does have some health considerations — a moderate heart murmur that currently causes no issues but will need monitoring, and a luxating patella that requires treatment to keep him comfortable. His new family must be prepared to cover the cost of any future veterinary care, as well as regular grooming.

Despite these needs, Morgan is a loving, gentle boy who is ready to become a cherished member of a devoted home.

Why Rehome From RSPCA Radcliffe

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.

We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.

We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!

We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
