Mocha

  • Domestic Short-haired
  • Male
  • 4 Months

Mocha is a young kitten who came to us from a multi-cat household where, sadly, he missed out on important early socialisation with people. Because of this, he is very timid and can become frightened when handled and may hiss or growl when picked up. Despite his worries, Mocha is still playful and a little mischievous at heart and with the right home he has every chance to grow in confidence.

He will need an experienced and patient owner who can give him the time and space he needs to settle. A quiet home is essential, with plenty of cosy hidey spots and safe high places where he can observe his surroundings until he feels secure.

With patience, understanding and gentle encouragement, Mocha will slowly learn to trust and begin to build bonds with his new family. In the right home, he will have the chance to blossom into the confident, happy cat he is meant to be.

Why Rehome From RSPCA Radcliffe

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.

We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.

We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!

We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
