Millie is an independent lady who likes company on her terms, she will come to you to say hello and rub up you but will not tolerate cuddles or being picked up. For this reason, Millie requires an experienced owner, a quiet home and someone at home most of the time to help her settle.
Millie came into us with only 3 legs and was a housecat in her previous home, she will need to continue her life as an indoor cat.
Millie finds other pets and young children very stressful and would prefer to be the only pet in her new home, helping her to build her confidence and live a happy and fulfilling life.

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.
We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.
We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!
We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
When Fred came to the shelter he was in a very sorry state, but thankfully through care and rehabilitation he made a full recovery and went on to find his forever home where he is living the best life.
