Mikey was rescued by RSPCA Inspectors from a home with multiple dogs and is now searching for a kind and understanding family who can offer the patience, support and reassurance he needs to truly thrive.
Naturally timid and hesitant in new situations or when meeting unfamiliar people, Mikey is a loving and affectionate boy once he builds trust. He’s also lively and full of energy, so he’ll need plenty of mental and physical stimulation to keep him happy and healthy.
Mikey can be vocal when meeting new dogs or people and due to some competitive behaviours around food and toys, he would be best suited as the only pet in the household.
He is looking for a calm, experienced home with someone around most of the time. Continued general training, including housetraining, will be important and gentle guidance is essential as he adjusts to a new life. Slow, controlled introductions to everyday sights, sounds and people will help Mikey build confidence at his own pace.
With the right support, Mikey will blossom into a loyal and rewarding companion.

Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!
