Micky is a handsome young boy with a calm, gentle nature and a very affectionate personality. Once he feels safe, he enjoys lots of fuss and attention and is happy to be picked up. He particularly enjoys being stroked and groomed and loves having all the attention to himself.
Micky originally came from a multi-cat household, but it quickly became clear that he found living with other cats quite overwhelming. Since moving into his own pod at the centre, away from other cats, he has become much more relaxed and has really started to show his affectionate nature. For this reason, Micky is looking for a home where he can be the only pet.
While in our care, Micky did experience a bout of cystitis which was likely brought on by stress. Since being in a quieter environment, he has settled well and his treatment has been successful. A calm home and a steady routine will help him continue to thrive, and using a Feliway diffuser may also help him settle in.
Micky may be happiest living as an indoor cat where he can enjoy a calm and predictable environment. However, as he is still young, this is something that could be reassessed once he has fully settled into his new home.
Micky has so much love to give. He just needs a patient owner who can offer him a calm home where he can feel safe, relaxed and enjoy all the attention he deserves.

We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!
