Merlin is a very shy and timid boy who finds comfort in hiding away under his blanket. He is unsure about being stroked and will often retreat to a quiet spot when feeling overwhelmed. While he will tolerate being picked up, he much prefers to settle nearby in his own safe space where he feels secure.
Merlin would be best suited to a calm, quiet home with an experienced owner who can give him time and patience to build confidence at his own pace. He has never been outdoors and may be content as an indoor-only cat, though any introduction to the outside world should be done slowly if he shows interest. With gentle reassurance, Merlin has the potential to grow in his own quiet way.

We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!
