Max is a sensitive boy who can find new people and situations a bit overwhelming at first. He will need a calm, patient owner who can help him build trust and confidence at his own pace.
Max is looking for an experienced owner who can provide gentle reassurance and continue his training with lead walking, house training and socialisation. He would suit a quiet home with someone who is around most of the time, as he gains confidence through company and routine. If his new family already has a dog, Max would prefer one of a similar size, as he can feel nervous around larger or more boisterous dogs.
Once Max feels safe and comfortable, he loves nothing more than sitting on your knee and enjoying affection from those he trusts.

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.
We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.
We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!
We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
