Supporting Nottinghamshire

Matilda

  • Domestic Short-haired
  • Female
  • 7 Years

Matilda is a sweet and sensitive soul looking for a calm, understanding home with someone experienced in caring for timid cats.

She’s found it difficult to settle in the cattery and tends to spend most of her time hiding. To support her, we’ve placed her on a gentle behaviour programme designed for shy and hesitant cats. Because of this, Matilda needs a patient owner who can recognise signs of nervousness and give her the space she needs to feel safe.

Matilda enjoys human company in quiet moments and would prefer to be the only pet in the home, helping her feel calm and reducing any stress.

Why Rehome From RSPCA Radcliffe

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.

We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.

We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!

We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
