Mabel and Winston

  • Cross English Spot
  • Female/Male
  • 6 Months

Winston and Mabel are a gorgeous bonded pair looking for a loving home together. They came into our care after their previous owners could no longer keep them, and they have a strong bond which gives them comfort and confidence—especially Winston, who is the more nervous of the two.

Both rabbits can be a little timid at first and will need a gentle, patient approach while they settle in. Mabel grows in confidence once handled and becomes friendly, enjoying strokes and grooming. Winston is more nervous initially, but relaxes once he feels safe and also enjoys being petted and groomed.

Winston and Mabel are looking for a home that can offer spacious, free-run accommodation and lots of daily exercise so they can exhibit normal rabbit behaviours.

They could live with children of any age, provided the children are calm and all handling is supervised by an adult. Ideally, their new family will have some experience with timid rabbits and the time and patience needed to help these lovely youngsters blossom.

Rabbits need lots of space – a pair of medium-sized rabbits require a living area where they can exercise and rest of at least 3 metres x 2 metres, and 1 metre high.

Why Rehome From RSPCA Radcliffe

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.

We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.

We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!

We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
