Lady is a friendly and affectionate girl with a kind, gentle nature. She loves being around people and will happily seek you out for attention. She can occasionally be a little nervous when meeting someone new, but once comfortable, her confident and playful personality soon comes through.
Lady loves her walks and particularly enjoys playing with squeaky toys. She also really enjoys company, so she is looking for an owner who will be around for most of the day initially. Once settled, time left alone can gradually be built up at a pace she is comfortable with.
Lady came into us as a stray, so we have no background information on her. As a Dachshund, her new owner will need to research the breed and be aware of the health conditions they can be prone to and the potential veterinary costs involved.
Our assessment and information on this animal suggest the following:
£195. Pets over 10 years old may be subject to a reduced adoption fee
Complete Adoption Form
All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.
We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.
We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!
We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
