Knight

  • Domestic Short-haired
  • Male
  • 1 Years

Knight is a very nervous boy who came into our care from a multi-cat household. Sadly, he missed out on vital human interaction and socialisation during his first year of life, which has left him wary of people.

Knight doesn’t like being picked up and has never been outdoors, though in time and on his own terms, he may show some interest, especially in a quiet, rural home. Knight prefers to hide when he feels unsure, but will sometimes venture out to say hello when treats (especially Dreamies) are on offer.

Knight is what we would describe as an “in-betweener cat”. One who may never fully relax around people but can enjoy gentle companionship in a calm, understanding environment. Knight would suit an experienced owner who can offer him patience, kindness and the freedom to be himself. Over time, Knight may continue to grow in confidence but it’s likely he will always be a little cautious around new people.

Why Rehome From RSPCA Radcliffe

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.

We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.

We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!

We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
