James is a gentle soul who can be shy and timid around new people and unfamiliar environments. When feeling uncertain, he may retreat and find a quiet spot to hide, so he’ll need time, patience, and understanding to settle into his new home.
However, once James begins to feel safe and comfortable, his affectionate personality shines through. He loves a fuss and will gladly lean in for attention, especially enjoying a good grooming session. He’s also quite the chatterbox when he feels at ease, using his voice to communicate and connect.
James will thrive in a calm, patient home that allows him to build trust at his own pace. In return, you’ll gain a loving and loyal companion with a big heart and a gentle nature.

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.
We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.
We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!
We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
