Heston

  • Akita
  • Male
  • 2 Years

Heston is a big boy with an even bigger heart, a true gentle giant with the cuddly charm of a teddy bear. He is full of energy and will need experienced owners who can keep up with his playful, active personality.

He absolutely adores people and gets along well with other dogs, especially the ladies. Heston can be a little stubborn at times and still pulls slightly on the lead but with continued guidance, he’ll keep improving. He is also working on his fetch skills, he’s nearly mastered the part where we don’t do the fetching!

Heston is a social butterfly who thrives on companionship and would love a home where someone is around most of the time. When left alone for too long, he can get a bit destructive, so he’s hoping for a family who will include him in their adventures, whether it’s a trip to the beach, a cosy coffee shop, or lunch out and about.

If you’re looking for a loyal, loving and larger-than-life companion who will fill your days with joy, Heston might just be your perfect match.

Why Rehome From RSPCA Radcliffe

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.

We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.

We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!

We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
