Georgie is a shy and sensitive little girl who has come from a multi-dog household. She can be nervous of new people, surroundings and situations, and it takes her a little time to settle. Once she feels safe, though, she shows her true affectionate nature and loves cuddles or curling up on your knee.
Georgie’s new owner will need time and patience to help her build confidence. She will benefit from a calm, quiet home with an experienced owner who can continue her training, including house-training, and gently encourage her with lead walking. Georgie is also nervous of loud noises and traffic, so a quieter environment will help her feel secure.
With the right support, Georgie will blossom into a loving, loyal companion who just wants to be close to you. If her new family already has a dog, Georgie would prefer the company of a calm male of a similar size.

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.
We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.
We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!
We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
