Daffy is a sweet, affectionate boy with a quietly confident nature. He settles into new places quickly but likes a bit of time to bond. Once he has that bond with you, he is very loyal.
Daffy can be vocal when left alone, so he would love a home where someone is around most of the time and can build up alone-time gradually.
Daffy enjoys walks but can pull, so he’ll need a harness and continued lead training. He’s friendly and well behaved with other dogs, though he prefers sniffing and pottering rather than playing. If there is already a dog in the home, Daffy would prefer a calm female.
He is playful and loves toys, but he enjoys them most when playing together with his person. Daffy is a lovely boy who will thrive with plenty of walks, company and cuddles.

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.
We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.
We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!
We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
