Supporting Nottinghamshire

Barney

  • Domestic Short-haired
  • Male
  • 10 Years

Barney is a sweet and gentle boy with a timid nature. He can feel overwhelmed in new situations and is sensitive to loud noises, so a quieter home would help him feel safe and settle in more quickly.

At first, Barney may hide and will need a patient owner with some experience to help him build confidence in his new surroundings. Given time, he will flourish.

Once he trusts you, Barney enjoys attention and affection, though he prefers to keep all four paws on the ground. He has always been a house cat and due to his timid nature, he would likely feel safest remaining indoors.

Why Rehome From RSPCA Radcliffe

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.

We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.

We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!

We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
