Micky originally came from a multi-cat household and it quickly became clear after arriving in our care that he felt very intimidated by other cats. Sadly, the stress led to a flare-up of cystitis, so Micky will need to be the only pet in the home. A Feliway diffuser may also help him settle.
Once he feels safe, Micky is a very affectionate boy and doesn’t mind being picked up. He’s incredibly handsome and enjoys being stroked and groomed, and all the attention that comes with it! He really is a lovely boy with a calm, gentle nature.
We are looking for owners with some cat experience who understand Micky’s needs, including that any pre-existing condition won’t be covered by insurance. His new owners would need to be prepared to fund any future treatment should his cystitis reoccur.
Now that Micky is in one of our frosted pods, he’s no longer becoming stressed by the other cats and is really coming out of his shell and showing us just how affectionate he can be.

We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!
