Penelope came into our care as a stray. She was very underweight, timid and unsure of her surroundings, but since settling in she has grown into a chatty, affectionate girl who loves greeting the people she knows. She’ll happily hop down from her favourite shelf to rub around your legs and say hello and she doesn’t mind being picked up.
Penelope is looking for an experienced owner who will give her the time and patience she needs to settle into her new home. She would prefer to be the only pet, as she finds other cats unsettling. Once she has built a bond with her person, her sweet and loving personality really shines through.
If Penelope shows an interest in exploring outdoors once she has settled, this should be introduced gradually and safely to help her gain confidence in her new surroundings.

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.
We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.
We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!
We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
