Pluto is a confident, sweet-natured boy who is sociable, playful and loves spending time with people. He enjoys plenty of fuss and affection but is equally happy to entertain himself at times, giving him a lovely balance of companionship and independence.
Pluto loves his walks and generally walks well on the lead, although he can pull a little with excitement when he spots another dog. He sometimes jumps up to greet people and enjoys playing with toys, even if his retrieve is a little selective! He also enjoys being brushed, helping to keep his coat in good condition.
Pluto is looking for an experienced owner who can continue his training and provide him with clear, consistent guidance. He will need to be the only pet in the home, as he has shown food-related resource guarding and prefers not to share food or high-value items with other animals. With patience, understanding and ongoing training, Pluto will make a fun, affectionate and rewarding companion.

We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!
