Bagheera

  • Domestic Short-haired
  • Male
  • 1 Year

Bagheera is nervous around new people and unfamiliar environments but once settled he becomes an affectionate, yet independent boy. Although he does not require an experienced owner, he will need someone patient who can allow him to settle in his own time and let his inquisitive personality continue to grow.

Initially, Bagheera will seek out his own hidey spaces and can be quite shy but once he begins to trust you, he becomes very attentive towards his person and enjoys quiet one-to-one interaction. As he is still young, we hope that once fully settled in a home environment, his playful and curious side will really begin to shine through.

Bagheera would benefit from a quieter home where he can feel safe and relaxed. Sudden movements and loud noises can still make him feel timid and unsure, so he would thrive in a calm environment where he can build confidence at his own pace. He would also prefer to be the only pet in the home, as other animals can leave him feeling a little overwhelmed.

Bagheera is a lovely boy who simply needs patience, understanding and the chance to settle into a home where he can truly flourish.

Why Rehome From RSPCA Radcliffe

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.

We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.

We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!

We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
