Supporting Nottinghamshire

Heidi

  • Jack Russell Terrier
  • Female
  • 5 Years

Heidi is an active and affectionate girl who loves her walks, enjoys pottering about having a sniff, and has lots of energy for playing with her toys. She’s a lovely, happy terrier with so much to offer the right owner.

However, Heidi can become very anxious when left alone and is also nervous around loud noises and traffic. Due to a lack of socialisation and exposure when she was younger, busy environments can leave her feeling scared and overwhelmed. Because of this, Heidi is looking for an experienced owner who can continue building her confidence and support her with positive experiences at her own pace.

Heidi walks nicely on the lead and really enjoys being outdoors, but she would be best suited to a quieter, more rural or countryside home with minimal traffic to help accommodate her worries around noise.

Whilst Heidi can tolerate some smaller dogs, she would much prefer to be the only pet in the home so she can enjoy all the love and attention she deserves. She is looking for an owner who is home most of the time due to her anxiety when left alone.

In the right home, with patience, understanding and the right knowledge, Heidi will make a wonderful and loyal companion.

Why Rehome From RSPCA Radcliffe

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.

We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.

We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!

We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
