Monroe came into our care from a multi-cat household where, unfortunately, he didn’t receive the level of human interaction he deserved. As a result, he can be timid and unsure around new people and in unfamiliar surroundings and will need time to settle in.
Monroe is looking for an owner with some experience who can offer patience and understanding while he builds his confidence. Each day he is becoming more settled and inquisitive, but it’s important that he is allowed to go at his own pace. Providing plenty of hiding spaces will help him feel safe when he becomes overwhelmed.
With time, kindness and a calm environment, Monroe will begin to show his true character and form a lovely bond with his owner.

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.
We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.
We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!
We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
