Supporting Nottinghamshire

Murray

  • Domestic Short-haired
  • Male
  • 1 Year

Murray came into our care from a multi-cat household where, unfortunately, he didn’t receive the level of human interaction he deserved. As a result, he is very timid and unsure around people and in unfamiliar surroundings and will need time to settle in.

Murray is a shy boy who may hiss if approached too quickly, although this behaviour does not escalate further. He prefers his own space and enjoys attention and once he has developed a bond with you he is affectionate. He loves to hide and will seek out quiet, private spots, particularly up high where he feels safest.

Murray is looking for an experienced owner who can offer the time, patience and understanding he needs. While he may never be a lap cat, in the right calm and loving home he has the potential to grow in confidence and quietly blossom at his own pace.

Why Rehome From RSPCA Radcliffe

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.

We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.

We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!

We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
