Ricky can be timid around new people, unfamiliar situations and dogs he doesn’t know, which may cause him to bark, move away, and display fearful behaviours.
However, once Ricky has built a bond and trust in his own time, something that cannot be rushed, he becomes an extremely lovable and affectionate boy who enjoys cuddles and shows his playful, bouncy side. Ricky is looking for an experienced owner who will give him the patience, understanding and time he needs to feel comfortable and grow in confidence at his own pace.
Once settled, Ricky really enjoys his walks. He can pull slightly on the lead at times and would benefit from continued lead training. With the right training, patience, and understanding, Ricky will thrive in his new home and build a wonderful bond with his family.

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.
We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.
We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!
We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
