Tara has a very laid-back personality with a gentle nature. She is confident around new people and settles well into new situations. Tara enjoys human attention but prefers her own space, so will need to be the only pet in the home.
Tara has some joint stiffness which is currently managed with ongoing pain relief. Her new owner will need to continue this treatment through their own vet and be aware of the associated costs.
She has previously lived as an indoor cat but has shown an interest in exploring outdoors. As Tara does not enjoy the presence of other cats, we would recommend a home in a quiet, low cat-population area, ideally more rural. If she does wish to go outside once settled, this should be introduced gradually and safely.

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.
We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.
We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!
We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
