Sonic

  • Greyhound Cross
  • Male
  • 2 Years

Sonic is a very lovable, sweet and excitable large boy who absolutely adores people. He can be a little unsure in new environments at first but he settles quickly and soon shows his confident and affectionate nature. He loves being around people and will happily lean in for fuss and attention.

He is playful, bouncy and full of energy, enjoying a good run. Sonic especially loves his toys, particularly squeaky ones, and thrives on playtime. Alongside his fun, energetic side, he also has a gentle nature and enjoys relaxing for cuddles once he has had a chance to burn off some energy.

Sonic is a strong and lively boy who can pull on the lead, so he will need an experienced owner who can continue his training and help him develop good manners. His excitement can sometimes get the better of him, especially around other dogs, where he may become vocal or a little over the top but he is friendly and just needs guidance to channel his enthusiasm in the right way.

He would be best suited to an active home with owners who are around for most of the day and can provide him with plenty of exercise, structure and ongoing training. If he were to live with another dog, it would need to be a female of a similar size.

Sonic is a big, affectionate boy with so much love to give, a true gentle giant who, with the right guidance, will make a loyal and fun companion.

Why Rehome From RSPCA Radcliffe

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.

We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.

We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!

We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
